Convetions Of A Double Page Spread.

This is what i found common in almost all double page spreads of a music magazine,
All of this shows me what my magazine should contain and how it should be designed:

Almost all the cover artists pose with serious facial expressions;
there are pictures of the featured band on both sides of the double page spread;
Throughout the articles there are many different side headings, and fonts;
Each double page spread has a a colour scheme too, of still only three colours;
All double page spreads contain quotes from the artists;
All articles are in columns and do not run over pictures or out of line;
Article text is very small, this is so the magazine writer can fit more on the pages and makes the slightly bigger sub headings seem larger than they are;
Pictures have a caption, anchoring the meaning of the image;
Start of different articles have drop capitals;
They almost all contain stand first paragraphs.
